We’re not talking about having as foul a mouth as Richard Pryor or setting a wooden dummy on your knee—we’re talking about the new wave of comedians who are knocking it out of the park on social media.

Networks like Twitter and Facebook seem tailor-made for comedians—just enough space for a nice one-liner or a good, pithy punchline. But businesses, both upstart and established, may do well to follow some of the best practices of those expanding taking their standup presence on-line.
