Eoghan Martin

Major: Master's in Computer Engineering

Eoghan has a Master’s in Computer Engineering from Trinity College Dublin.

He is passionate about technology and has worked professionally, developing on a wide range of platforms. He worked for the Susquehanna International Group as a software engineering intern in 2015. Since then he has also worked as a technology consultant with the Office of the Dublin Commissioner for Startups where he gained hands-on experience with the Dublin startup community and collaborated with Pivotal Labs, a cutting edge software development firm based in San Francisco. As well as his professional experience in technology development, Eoghan has worked on his own ventures throughout his time in university. He participated in the Launchbox student accelerator in Trinity College Dublin developing a high-tech startup and has also founded the Dev, meet Tech (devmeettech.com) initiative. This social venture brings young people from a wide range of backgrounds together for intense one-day events. The goal of these events is to develop new ways to utilize technology in addressing global issues.

To compliment his technical skills Eoghan has completed Harvard Business School’s Credential of Readiness. This course formalized the fundamentals of business for him and he is now hungry to learn more through his studies in the ESTEEM program. He is excited to be working with a rapidly expanding Irish startup called CupPrint for his capstone thesis project.  He plans to bring the broad skillset that he has acquired through his university studies and professional experience to the next level in whatever endeavors he embarks on next.
