Major: Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering
Chris attended the University of Notre Dame and received a bachelors degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. While at Notre Dame, Chris participated in Club Rowing, Club Soccer, and the Boxing Club “Bengal Bouts”. Chris became a Resident Assistant (RA) in Sorin College and was able to work with an excellent hall staff team that helped to create a strong and caring dorm community. Whille in college, Chris spent one summer working in Cincinnati Children’s’ Hospital lab, imaging the brains of mice, attempting to understand defects in the hippocampus. Another summer Chris worked with Cold Jet’s R&D team to develop a working prototype for a dry ice blasting machine that generated its power through compressed air. In his third summer Chris studied abroad in London, getting hands on experience with plant operations through Imperial College’s four story pilot plant. And most recently Chris worked in Canton, Michigan improving shipping and sales efficiencies. With these experiences Chris entered the ESTEEM Program. Through this program, Chris hopes to enhance his business minded and problem solving skillsets. In the future Chris hopes to pursue a career in business consulting and project management. Among his professional interests are business strategy, technology, biotechnology, healthcare, energy, and pharmaceuticals.
