Part of what we do with our students at ESTEEM is to prepare them to successfully manage innovation within an entrepreneurial environment. To do this effectively, it helps to understand how they as leaders and those they will interact with on a daily basis are wired in terms of their individual approaches and working styles.
IDEO, an innovative think tank and proving grounds for creativity, innovation and entrepreneurial thinking has come up with what they call the “The Ten Faces of Innovation.” These personas provide a great insight into the many of types of innovators there are and possibly some tacit approaches on to best manage these types of personalities or, harness those same traits in themselves as they move through their careers.
