Rory Dunne

Rory Dunne

Hailing from the picturesque county of Wexford in the south-east of Ireland, Rory enjoys playing rugby and kitesurfing in his spare time. As the youngest in a family of four children, he is used to the demands placed upon start-ups by virtue of their diminutive stature in the marketplace. Rory's Capstone Thesis focused on the utilisation and commercialisation of novel biomarkers for the detection of Mycobacterium Tuberculosis infections.

Rory graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2014 with a degree in Immunology. Following a year of heavy involvement in student and University politics, he was inspired to move away from the lab bench and explore the world of business. During an internship within EY's consultancy practice, he worked on the establishment of Ireland's largest utility provider and what will eventually become its largest corporate entity.

After graduating from ESTEEM, Rory will begin work with Deloitte's fledgling Strategic Risk practice in New York City. In time, he hopes to realize his entrepreneurial ambitions, either in the United States or at home in Ireland.
