Nikita Amelchenko

Nikita Amelchenko grew up in the suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts. He studied both Computer Science and Computer Engineering through the join 3+2 engineering program between the University of Notre Dame and Stonehill College. During his undergraduate years, he took an interest in developing and researching mobile software. Mobile application development in conjunction with his business minor drew out an interest in entrepreneurship. After completing both of his undergraduate degrees in 2015, he enrolled in ESTEEM's class of 2016. During his time in the program, he worked on developing a commercialization plan for a collaborative effort between two companies creating a smarter real-time surveillance system aided by Wi-Fi tracking.

After completing the ESTEEM program, Nikita decided to move to Los Angeles where he currently works as a Software Engineer for the cross-platform team at Disney-ABC Television Group. He is responsible for developing and maintaining software for a variety of mobile and set-top devices streaming digital media. He hopes to learn a lot of new skills during his time at The Walt Disney Company before continuing on one day with his own startup.
