Megan Bryant graduated from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis in 2015 with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Purdue University. At the beginning of Megan’s senior year of college, she became interested in ways to further enhance her biomedical engineering degree. She was curious about exploring business and developing skills outside the realm of engineering. She saw the ESTEEM program as the perfect opportunity to pair her technical background with fundamental business skills.
During her time at ESTEEM, Megan worked with Cocoon Biotech to explore the potential of a new application of Cocoon’s core technology. With this project, she was able to use her technical knowledge to determine which applications best utilized the technology’s properties. Additionally, the discussions, concepts learned, and exercises in the classroom assisted her in the development of the business plan.
Megan is now working at Eli Lilly and Company in the area of Pricing, Reimbursement, and Access. In her role, Megan is seeing how the skills she learned during ESTEEM set her up for success. Specifically, she utilizes the analytical skills related to financial modeling and assumption formations daily. Aside from the valuable skills learned, her connection to the University of Notre Dame and relationships formed continue to show their value.
