Matt graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mathematics and Business Administration. He worked for two years as an analyst at Liberty Mutual in Boston, Massachusetts, before entering the ESTEEM Program.
During his time in the ESTEEM Program, Matthew worked with various Mathematics and Economics professors who had developed an asset pricing model by modifying an existing integral-based model and solving it as a 2nd order differential equation. This model is able to predict future returns on stocks based on overall consumption in society. This thesis project inspired Matt to pursue a position at the Boston-based Eze Software Group, a financial software company, where he now works as a Product Specialist.
