Dustin Mix

Dustin Mix Headshot

Dustin is a three-time graduate of the University of Notre Dame, holding a BS in Civil Engineering ('10), a MS in Civil Engineering ('13) and a MS from the ESTEEM Program. Throughout his graduate work, Dustin worked on a project he helped co-found, called Engineering2Empower, looking at new approaches to housing and homeownership in post-earthquake Haiti. After graduating from the ESTEEM Program, Dustin moved to Lèogâne, Haiti and lived and worked there for two years, building housing prototypes, training local construction crews, and working with local community members to find new ways to approach community-level problems. Dustin recently returned to the US and is now at Notre Dame full-time, splitting his time between working with Engineering2Empower, the emerging Keough School for Global Affairs, and the ESTEEM Program.
